“Surviving Sue” – On the Radio!

Wow. Wow. Wow.

Do you know about John Busbee’s “The Culture Buzz“? If you don’t, you need to catch up! It’s my new favorite program on the award-winning, independent radio station, KFMG 98.9.

John refers to his listeners as “cultural adventurers” – members of a club and membership is free. Just tune in! With content ranging from news about the performing and visual arts to author interviews and more, John curates two hours of inspiration every Wednesday from 11am to 1pm (Central Time). Even better? “The Culture Buzz” is streamed for all to enjoy at www.kfmg.org.

Last week I had the honor of being a guest on John’s show to talk about “Surviving Sue”, thanks to our mutual friend, talented author Joy Neal Kidney. What a delight! I hope you’ll take a listen to my chat with John and find time to tune in regularly for insightful reminders about the power of the arts, creativity and the potency of the human spirit. Especially right now, I’d say. I’m taking all the booster shots of positivity I can find.

You can listen to my interview with John here but please take a look at the impressive archive of conversations with authors on The Culture Buzz site.

Many thanks for the on-going support of “Surviving Sue” and this author’s journey to inspire others to write for wellness. You matter and I’m ever grateful!

      1. Fifteen minutes well-spent! An excellent conversation, Vicki.

Achieving a successful adulthood after being raised by a problematic parent or parents is not easy (I’ve been there), so this conversation is an inspiring one amid the sober reality of going through that kind of family situation.

Also, I like the way the host urges readers to order directly from the publisher or through an independent bookstore.
