Greetings, Friends! I’ve got a potpourri of goodness today, starting with a lovely review of “Slivers” from Elizabeth Wickham in her recent blog post. Here’s a snippet:
“I knew the book was going to be spooky but it surprised me with twists and turns. The characters were well developed and Vicki did an amazing job with the kids. They seemed real with distinct personalities and voices.”
Thank you, Elizabeth!
Summer is busy for me with presentations and events. I’m thrilled with the early book club interest in “Slivers”. Here’s the link to discussion questions.
I enjoy larger events, too and I’ve got three coming up—a poetry reading, a workshop based on lessons learned from “Surviving Sue” and the popular Writing for Wellness session. Here are the details:
Upcoming Events
Navigating Elder Care at the Carol Stream Library – June 25
Writing for Wellness at the Round Lake Library – July 25
If you’re in the Chicago area, I’d love to see you in person!
All my best wishes,
Vicki 💝
P.S. If you missed last week’s post about the launch party and the fun pics, take a look.
